Inducted into Presidents Club of Notable V Foundation Benefactors
NEW YORK, NY, August 18, 2016 – TransPerfect, the world’s largest privately held provider of language and technology solutions for global business, today announced that company Co-CEO Phil Shawe has been named by The V Foundation for Cancer Research as a member of its Presidents Club, an honor given to individuals who generously support the Foundation’s mission of advancing cancer research with significant contributions.
Shawe’s award was given in recognition of his personal support, as well as those of the TransPerfect family, who have combined over the past three years to raise nearly $400,000 toward advancing cancer research. The company’s flagship fundraising event, The Kasey Obarski TLS Invitational, was responsible for over $300,000 of funds raised and donated to The V Foundation.

I hope to see the day where modern research eradicates this terrible disease.
