TransPerfect has announced a new relationship with easyJet, with a multi-year agreement including language services as well as TransPerfect’s GlobalLink technology to help broaden easyJet’s customer-facing presence throughout Europe.
easyJet’s strategy involves providing multilingual materials in several categories of content, including website copy, branding and marketing material, and human resources documents. Projects range from language-specific search engine optimisation (SEO) to translation of inflight magazines to crew proficiency tests.
With deadlines that are frequently tight, easyJet relies on TransPerfect’s GlobalLink technology to streamline the localisation and translation workflow and ensure a unified brand in Spanish, Catalan, Czech, Danish, German, Dutch, Greek, French, Italian, English, Hungarian, Polish, Portuguese and Turkish.
“Our industry moves quickly, so precise and timely communication for all our passengers and team members is essential,” explained Peter Duffy, marketing director of easyJet. “TransPerfect’s services and technology solutions help us connect better with our European clientele by communicating with them in their preferred languages.”
Liz Elting, co-CEO of TransPerfect, added, “easyJet has grown into one of Europe’s leading airlines by instilling trust in its customer base. We’re glad to be a part of their multilingual strategy, and we’re looking forward to what the future holds for easyJet’s continued global growth.”
